Location Dashboard Financial Estimates (Operating Cost)

Purpose: The Financial Estimates, or location specific operating costs page, allows users to view what estimated expenses are associated with the project to be able compare the estimated operating costs by location.

Overview: The Financial Estimates page, located on the Location Dashboard page by selecting the Operating Costs tile, allows users to view the financial estimates for the location’s annual operating costs and override responses as needed. The Financial Estimates page can also be accessed by selecting Financial Estimates in the Location Analytics dropdown menu from the navigation bar at the top of the page

Note: Financial Factors (such as utility rates, utility demand, number of employees, and average wage rate) that are shown on the Financial Estimates page have been predefined by the user on the Financial Analytics page (see “Financial Analytic article”).

How To: A user can view the values that comprise the total value displayed for each category under the Primary Category column. A user must select the Primary Category of choice to view the Secondary Category values. The total values of each Secondary Category are listed under Total Value. A user can then select their Secondary Category of choice to reveal Tertiary Categories and their associated values.

A user can override responses to individual values within the Tertiary Category section by checking the box located beside the value in the ORIDE column. Once a user checks the box, a pop-up screen will appear. A user can then input a new value and reason for overriding. The override reason will be displayed to the right of the Tertiary Category value.

Note: ORIDE stands for “Override”
